A quick musing about Spanish

There are many things I dislike about Spanish, for example:

  • The number of ways to conjugate “went.”
  • That inanimate objects are assigned a gender and you have to genderize both the article and the adjectives you use for them.

One thing I do like is in written Spanish. They preface a question with an upside down question mark, so you don’t have to get to the end of the sentence to know it’s a question. That is something I think English could adopt.
